Event overview
Front Range Ultra Dayze is an ultra-running festival held in Centennial Park, Loveland, CO. The event limits the field to 200 total runners. Camping is allowed in a designated area at the park for the duration of the race; camping outside the allowed race dates is not permitted. About 20 RV spots are available by permit.
Races and distances
The event offers both time-based and distance-based events. Time-based events measure distance covered during a fixed duration; runners may stop early and still receive awards based on accumulated mileage. Distance races must be finished before the event end to avoid a DNF, and runners may not drop to a shorter distance during the race.
Distances include:
- 200-miler
- 100-miler
- 50k
- 100-hour
- 72-hour
- 48-hour
- 24-hour
- 12-hour
Course, services and rules
The course is a roughly 2-mile loop with about 80% dirt trail and 20% pavement, starting near the shelter in Centennial Park and looping through River’s Edge Natural Area. The race is chip timed; wearing the timing chip correctly is required. One aid station will be located beside the start/finish and will provide food and an electrolyte/carbohydrate beverage (Proxima C Endurance Fuel). No pacers or on-course crew assistance are allowed. No dogs on course. Strict camping and pop-up rules apply, including maximum stake length and minimum weights on pop-ups; violations may lead to removal and lost results.
Entry, awards and refunds
All registrations receive a dry bag, a beanie, and a collapsible cup. Buckles are awarded for ultra distances and time-based runners receive the highest buckle for mileage achieved. Deferral and withdrawal credits are issued on a sliding schedule based on how long before the race the cancellation is made. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
