Front Range Ultra Dayze - Loveland, CO

Front Range Ultra Dayze is a multi-day ultrarunning event held at Centennial Park and River’s Edge Natural Area in Loveland, Colorado. The course is a roughly two mile loop composed of about 80% dirt trail and 20% pavement. The loop is flat and runners enter the start/finish from the opposite direction after running River’s Edge Natural Area.

The event offers both time-based and distance-based formats. Timed races allow multiple official start dates; runners may start later than the scheduled start but their official time is based on the scheduled start. Distance races must be completed by the event cutoff and do not allow drops in distance.

Notable operational details include:

  • A 200 runner total cap.
  • Chip timing with mandatory chip wear.
  • One 24/7 aid station near the start/finish plus two cooked hot meals daily.
  • No pacers on course and crew assistance only in designated crew areas.
  • No dogs on course and rules against cutting course or littering.

Camping is permitted in a designated area of Centennial Park with strict rules: no stakes over six inches, pop-ups weighed down (minimum 40 pounds per leg), and no camping outside the authorized race dates. About 20 RV permits are available for a fee that will be donated to the City of Loveland.

All participants receive a 5-liter waterproof dry bag, a beanie, and a collapsible cup. Buckles are awarded for accumulated mileage; a 50k is required to receive a finishing award. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
