Reagan Run
The Reagan Run is an annual community running event held in Dixon, Illinois on July 4, 2026. The event marks its 26th year and benefits various not-for-profit organizations. The 5K follows a route through downtown, into wooded areas, and along the river.

- 3.1 Miles 5K
- 0.6 miles Kids Fun Run for children 9 and under
Packet pick-up is available the day before the race at the Dixon YMCA, 110 N. Galena Avenue. In-person registration is offered during packet pick-up, and card payments are accepted on July 3 and July 4. Race-day registration and check-in are also available. Walkers are welcome and will line up behind runners for safety. No strollers or pets are permitted in the 5K.
Official finish times are available for persons who complete the course within 1 hour and 15 minutes. Awards include unique prizes for first overall male and female, masters overall for male and female, and first through third places in multiple age divisions; overall winners do not receive age-group awards.
The Kids Fun Run is free, limited to children age 9 and under. All kids finishers receive a medal, refreshments, and a goodie bag. Free t-shirts are available to the first 100 youth entrants with sizes allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
