Reagan Run
The Reagan Run is an annual event taking place on July 4, 2026. This is its 26th anniversary. The main event is a 5K race that winds through downtown Dixon, wooded areas, and along the river. A Kids Fun Run is also offered. The race benefits various not-for-profit organizations.
Packet pick-up is on Friday, July 3rd from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Dixon YMCA. Race-day registration and check-in is from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m.
Awards are presented after the race. The first overall male and female receive a unique award. Age group awards are given to the first three places in each division for males and females. Walkers are welcome but must line up behind the runners for safety. Official times are available for finishers within 1 hour and 15 minutes. Strollers and pets are not allowed in the 5K race.
