Reading Hospital Road Run
The Reading Hospital Road Run is an in-person event on October 18, 2026, in West Reading, Pennsylvania (420 S. Sixth Avenue). The event program includes a 1/2 marathon, a 5K, and a 1 mile fun walk/run.

The 1/2 marathon course starts in West Reading, crosses the Schuylkill River into the city of Reading, returns through Wyomissing, and finishes in West Reading. The 5K follows a scenic loop around areas adjacent to Reading Hospital. The 1 mile fun walk/run is an untimed stroll around the hospital grounds and finishes in front of the hospital clock tower.
Both the 1/2 marathon and the 5K will be chip-timed. All participants who register by September 15, 2026, are guaranteed a short-sleeve wicking race shirt. Registration options include a loyalty registration window from November 1 to December 31, 2025, which requires registering with the same RunSignup account to access early pricing; general registration opens January 1, 2026. Posted registration fees are $65.00 for the 1/2 marathon, $25.00 for the 5K, and $10.00 for the 1 mile event.
Awards for the 5K and 1/2 marathon include top three male and female overall finishers and age-group prizes as specified by the organizer.
