Event overview
The Reading Hospital Road Run takes place on Sunday, October 18, 2026, in West Reading, PA. The event is hosted by The Friends of Reading Hospital. The course starts and finishes in front of the clock tower and loops around the park and neighborhoods south of the hospital campus. The 1 Mile Fun Walk/Run begins on Spruce Street at 6th in front of the clock tower and finishes on 6th directly in front of the clock tower at the hospital.

The half marathon and 5K are chip-timed. There will be pacers for the half marathon. All participants will receive a short-sleeve wicking race shirt if registered by September 15, 2026. Pricing shown on the event page indicates reduced rates that increase after December 31, 2025.
Awards: 5K awards are given to the top three male and female finishers overall and in age groups 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70+. 1/2 Marathon awards go to the top three male and female finishers overall and in age groups 19 & Under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, and 60+.
