REACH Foundation Shamrock 'n Run
The REACH Foundation Shamrock 'n Run is scheduled for March 15, 2026, at Yorba Regional Park in Anaheim. The event offers timed running and walking courses and includes divisions for general participants as well as PYLUSD elementary, middle, and high school students. Since 2012 the event has drawn about 2,000 participants annually and raises funds to support PYLUSD student enrichment programs and events.
The event program includes a Community EXPO with over 40 vendors, live stage performances and a DJ, and a free pancake breakfast provided for registered 5K and 2K participants by the Kiwanis Club of Placentia. Both the 5K and 2K courses start and finish in the outfield grass area adjacent to the Anaheim ball fields and run through park trails, ponds, and tree-lined sections of Yorba Regional Park.
Dogs are permitted when handlers follow park guidelines: dogs must be on a physical leash no longer than six feet, handlers must carry waste bags and clean up after their pets, and dogs should be well socialized for a busy race environment.
