Newcastle Beach Triathlon, Bellevue WA
This event is a sprint triathlon held on Labor Day weekend 2026 at Newcastle Beach Park in Bellevue, Washington. The course combines open-water swimming in Lake Washington, a mixed road and trail bike segment on the Eastrail, and an asphalt trail run.
Distances:
- 1/4 mile swim in Lake Washington.
- 8 miles bike: 5 miles on asphalt road and 3 miles on hard-packed limestone/dirt on the Eastrail.
- 5 miles run on an asphalt trail with views of the Seahawks training facility VMAC and Lake Washington.
Event logistics note free parking at Newcastle Beach Park and a staging area at Shelter #3. Optional packet pickup is offered Saturday, Sept 5, 2026, 4:00 - 5:30 pm at the race site. A mandatory safety briefing is scheduled for Thursday, Sept 3, 2026, at 7:00 pm; the briefing is recorded and available afterward. All athletes must hold USAT membership; one-day USAT memberships are offered for full and relay entries.
Ticketing includes individual and relay options with listed prices ranging from $9.00 to $85.00. Relay entries require USAT membership for each relay athlete. The event has a participant cap. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
