Rattlesnake Lake Triathlon
The event is a sprint triathlon held at Rattlesnake Lake near North Bend, Washington. The swim is a 1/4 mile distance in Rattlesnake Lake, which is fed by Cascades snowmelt from the Cedar watershed. The bike leg follows the Palouse to Cascade Mountain bike trail and consists of mixed road and trail surfaces on limestone and hard packed dirt; a regular road bike is permitted. The run is a 4 mile trail course that uses about 3 miles of asphalt bike path and 1 mile of hard packed limestone or dirt paths through Rattlesnake and Cascades Park.

Entry options include individual full triathlon entries and relay teams. Relay options allow teams of two or three, with each team member choosing a swim, bike, or run leg. Relay team members are required to hold USAT membership. Relay entrants receive a race T-shirt and a finisher's medal. The event has a participant cap. Parking is available at the Rattlesnake Lake SPU lot; parking at the Washington State Trail lot requires a Discover Pass for the day or year.
