Rattlesnake Lake Triathlon : Labor Day weekend 2026
The Rattlesnake Lake Triathlon is a sprint triathlon held at Rattlesnake Lake near North Bend, Washington. The race combines an open-water swim in the lake, a mixed road-and-trail bike segment on the Palouse to Cascade Mountain bike trail, and a mostly off-road run through Rattlesnake and Cascades Park. The bike surface includes limestone and hard-packed dirt; a regular road bike is acceptable.
Race entry options include a full triathlon and relay teams for two or three people. Relay entries require USAT membership for each relay member, and relay participants receive a race T-shirt and finisher medal. Entry fees listed range from USD 45 to USD 85. The event has a participant cap.
Parking is available at the Rattlesnake Lake SPU lot at the race site. Parking at the Washington State Trail lot requires a Discover Pass, currently USD 15 per day or USD 45 per year.

- Swim: 1/4 mile in Rattlesnake Lake
- Bike: 10 miles on mixed road and trail, limestone/hard packed dirt
- Run: 4 miles 3 miles asphalt path, 1 mile limestone/dirt trail
