Rancho Ramble Trail Run
The Rancho Ramble Trail Run takes place in Central California, offering a course that highlights the natural landscape of the Central Coast. Participants run through a variety of environments, including rolling farmland, wide open cow pastures, and arroyos lined with oak trees. The terrain is characterized by rolling grassy hills and constantly changing ground conditions that result in varied footing throughout the race.
While the area does not appear mountainous at first glance, the course features steep and long climbs. The route layout is designed to challenge a runner's rhythm through diverse topographical features. The event weekend also coincides with Spartan Obstacle Course Races held at the same location. After the event, there is an opportunity to sample local wine produced in the region.
