The Wildflower Experience
The Wildflower Experience is a multi-day endurance sports festival held at Lake San Antonio South Shore in Bradley, California. This weekend event features a wide variety of competitive categories, including four separate triathlons, trail runs, and an open-water swimming race.
Beyond the competitions, the event includes a festival atmosphere with an expo, live music, yoga sessions, and food trucks. Participants have various accommodation options such as camping and glamping. The venue is located approximately one hour from King City or Paso Robles, and internal shuttles are used to transport attendees between parking areas and the main festival grounds.
Available Distances
The event offers several race formats over two days:
- Long Course Triathlon: A 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike, and 13.1-mile run.
- Olympic Course Triathlon: A 1.5k swim, 40k bike, and 10k run.
- On Road Sprint: A 500m swim, 20k bike, and 5k run.
- Off Road Gravel Sprint: A 0.31-mile swim, 10-mile bike, and 2-mile run.
- Trail Run: A 20k course through the surrounding landscape.
- Fun Runs: Both 5k and 10k road running options.
- Open Water Swim: a dedicated 1.2-mile swimming race.
All triathlon and swimming participants are required to have a USAT membership. Every person entering Lake San Antonio Park must purchase a festival day pass or a camping pass, which grants access to the venue amenities and festival activities.
