Rame Head Race
The event is based at Mount Edgcumbe Park, Torpoint, and uses a coastal single loop of about 10.5 km around the peninsula. Two laps make a half marathon and four laps make a marathon. The route follows mainly coast path with a mix of hills and flatter sections.
Distances offered:
- 10K single lap around 10.5 km
- Half marathon two laps (13.1 miles)
- Marathon four laps (26.2 miles)
- 10K Canicross single lap
- Kids races 1K and 2K
Facilities and services include chip timing, kilometer markers, a fully marked and marshaled course, professional first aid, and public liability insurance. Finishers receive a custom medal and there are podium medals for the top three in Overall, Vet 40, Vet 50 and Vet 60 categories; a one prize per person policy applies. Event photography is provided with free social-resolution images that include the event logo; high-resolution downloads and prints are available for an additional charge.
Logistics information notes paid parking near the event headquarters, on-site camping available for an extra charge, and a short ferry service to the site for foot passengers. The marathon includes a cut-off time of 7.5 hours. In 2026 kids races were added and the 10K and half marathon are started together to ease single-track sections.
