Event details

Rame Head Race takes place at Mount Edgcumbe, Cremyll, Torpoint (PL10 1HZ) on 13 June 2026. The event includes races for adults and children, and a canicross category. The marathon has a cut-off time of 7.5 hours. Camping is available on site for an extra charge. Paid parking is available nearby. A short Cremyll ferry service links the site with Plymouth; the crossing is described as about eight minutes.

Course and races

The route is a single coastal loop of about 10.5 km, mostly on coast path, with a mix of hills and flatter sections and marked kilometer signs. Distances on the day are:

  • 10.5 km - one lap
  • Half marathon (13.1 miles) - two laps
  • Marathon (26.2 miles) - four laps
  • 10 km Canicross - one lap
  • 1 km and 2 km kids races

Age limits given by the organiser include: marathon entrants aged 17 or over, half marathon 16 or over, 10K 15 or over, 10K canicross 16 or over, 1K for ages 3-7, and 2K for ages 8-14.

Race services and logistics

The course is fully marked and marshaled, with feed stations and professional chip timing. Finishers receive medals and there are podium medals by category. The event provides professional first aid, public liability insurance, kilometer markers, and event photography (social-resolution photos free with the organiser's logo; hi-res downloads are available for a fee).
