Rame Head Race
The Rame Head Race is a multi-distance trail event around Mount Edgcumbe Peninsula, held on a single coastal loop of approximately 10.5 km. The loop is mostly on coast path and includes a mix of hills and flatter sections. Two laps make a half marathon and four laps make a marathon. The start and finish are accessible by the Cremyll Ferry from Plymouth, a crossing of about eight minutes.
Event services and facilities include a fully marked and marshaled course, kilometer markers, feed stations, professional chip timing, professional first aid, public liability insurance, and finishers medals with podium awards. Camping is available on site for an additional charge. Event photography is provided with free social media-resolution images bearing the Sportiva Events logo; high-resolution downloads and prints are available for an additional charge. The marathon has a cut-off time of 7.5 hours.
