Rame Head Race

The Rame Head Race is a multi-distance event on the Mount Edgcumbe peninsula in Devon, centred at Mount Edgcumbe, Cremyll, Torpoint (PL10 1HZ). The course is based on a single coastal loop of about 10.6K, mostly on coast path. Two laps make a half marathon and four laps make a marathon. The route includes a mix of hills and flatter sections.

  • Marathon (four laps, 26.2 miles)

  • 1K and 2K kids races

Race services include finishers medals for all entrants and podium medals, professional chip timing, a fully marked and marshaled course with kilometer markers, professional first aid, public liability insurance, and event photography. Camping is available on site for an extra charge. A short ferry crossing from Plymouth is provided for access to the venue; the crossing takes about eight minutes and an early service will be provided for competitors, spectators and marshals. There is paid parking within easy reach of event headquarters.

Age minimums are applied by distance. The marathon has a cut off time of seven and a half hours. Kids races were added for the 2026 edition. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
