Ram Party Trail Runs is a multi-distance trail event held at Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort in Colorado Springs, with courses routed around Rampart Reservoir and along Rampart Range Road. The event offers a variety of distances, varied terrain, and high points near 9,500 feet above sea level.
The courses include climbs on forest roads and single track around the reservoir and descents returning to Buffalo Lodge. Drop bags are available at the finish area and at designated aid stations for longer distances. Crews may access the start and finish areas; parking at Buffalo Lodge is limited and local overflow parking options are listed. A shuttle is provided to support the point to point 60K course.
Course specifics and elevation figures are published for each distance. The 55 mile course records and aid station locations are provided, and pacers are allowed for the final segment of the 55 mile distance only. Weather notes advise carrying warm layers and a rain jacket for higher elevations where temperatures can be cooler.
