Ram Party Trail Runs
Ram Party Trail Runs takes place Saturday, May 16th, 2026, with a base at Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The event offers multiple trail distances around Rampart Reservoir and Rampart Range Road with course sections on forest roads, single track, and mountain roads. Runners will encounter high points near 9,500 feet and sustained elevation changes.
Distances offered include:
- 55 Mile : 53.9 miles, 6,964 feet total elevation gain.
- 60K : point to point, about 37.8 miles, uses Glen Aspen Boy Scout Camp start.
- 50K : out and back, climbs more than 4,000 feet on Rampart Range.
- 24K : start and finish at Buffalo Lodge, turnaround on Rampart Range Road.
- 15K : start and finish at Buffalo Lodge with a climb then descent.
Aid stations are placed along each course; the 55 mile course includes multiple aid stations and scheduled drop bag locations. All distances allow a finish line drop bag; the 55 mile race permits pacers for the final section from Rainbow Gulch Aid II to the finish. Parking at Buffalo Lodge is limited and organizers provide shuttle service for the point to point 60K; additional parking is available near local sites.
