2026 RAM at UVA 5K
RAM at UVA is a charity 5k held on April 5 at Madison Bowl Field in Charlottesville, Virginia. The event is organized by Bishops Events as part of a chapter effort to support Remote Area Medical and to raise funds for a biennial free clinic in Fishersville. All race proceeds will go toward funding the chapter clinic.
The event distance is 5k. It is a chip timed race. An event shirt is guaranteed for the first 75 registrants. Registration fee for the 5k is listed as 20 dollars. There is a virtual run option for those who cannot attend in person.
Logistics noted by the organizer include packet pickup at the event with a recommendation to arrive one hour before the start, race day registration with shirts not guaranteed for same day registrants, water bottles at the finish and water cups along the course, and restrooms available at Madison Hall adjacent to the field. Live results will be posted on Athlinks and a QR code will be available at the race for immediate viewing. Final results with series points will be posted the Monday after the event. Runner tracking via SMS is available during registration.
Points from this event count toward the Year Long 5k and Back of the Pack Series and also toward the Spring Series.
