Father's Day Rainbow Falls 5K and Kids Fun Run

The Father's Day Rainbow Falls 5K and Kids Fun Run is a community running event organized by DSE Runners in San Francisco. The event takes place in the east end of Golden Gate Park, with the primary activities centered near the intersection of Transverse and Kennedy Drives.

Participants have two distances to choose from:

5 km
0.5 mile (Kids Fun Run)

The 5 km course is a flat, fast loop designed for efficiency and speed. The event also includes a half-mile Kids Race specifically for children ages 12 and under. All participants who complete their respective distances receive finisher ribbons. Additionally, place ribbons are presented to the top five overall male, female, and non-binary runners in the 5K event.

The event operations continue regardless of weather conditions, and the registration fee is non-refundable. For those traveling by vehicle, free parking is available along Kennedy Drive and Transverse Drive. Check-in procedures occur on the morning of the race at the event site.
