Rainbow Colour Run - Brandon 2026
The Rainbow Colour Run in Brandon is a short, family friendly colour run held on Saturday 13 June 2026 as part of Brandon's third Pride Day. The event takes place on a flat grass course at Brandon Remembrance Playing Fields.
Participants complete loops of around a quarter of a mile. Biodegradable, food quality corn starch in rainbow colours is thrown into the air so runners pass through colourful clouds; supporters can purchase cups of powder to add to the effect. The local fire brigade will bring a fire engine to create a water cloud that enhances the colour effect.
Entry categories and fees are published for adults and children, with under 5s able to take part free. There is a maximum field size of 200 and entries close on 12 June 2026. Some places may be available for on the day registration at the event registration desk.
All participants must wear protective eyewear; rainbow sunglasses and plain white or white Pride t shirts will be available to buy on the day. The powder is non toxic and food safe but may stain clothing and skin. Race numbers must be worn and will need collecting at the event if registered online. Medals are awarded to participants and there will be photo opportunities. As a charity event, refunds and deferrals are not permitted and participants enter at their own risk.
