Rainbow Colour Run - Brandon 2026
The Rainbow Colour Run in Brandon takes place on Saturday 13 June 2026 as part of the town's third family friendly Pride Day. The event is a short colour run held on grass and described as flat, consisting of loops of around a quarter of a mile. The field course runs in waves, with biodegradable food quality corn starch powder used in rainbow colours.
Participants must wear protective eyewear; glasses or sunglasses are acceptable and rainbow sunglasses will be available for sale. A local fitness instructor will lead a group warm-up before the run. The local fire brigade will attend with a fire engine and create a water cloud to pass through during the event.
Entry limits are set at 200 participants. Entry fees are: adults £10.00, ages 5 to 16 £5.00, and under 5s free. The minimum age listed is 1 year. Online entries close on 12 June 2026 at 7pm and on-the-day registration is available from 11.30am at the registration desk. Race numbers must be worn and online registrants should collect their number on the day.
The paint powder is non toxic and food safe but may stain clothing and skin. Medals are given to participants and photographs or videos taken at the event may be used in publicity.
