28th Annual Rail Trail 10-Miler
The York Road Runners Club will hold the 28th annual Rail Trail 10-Miler on August 22, 2026 to benefit The ARC of York and Adams Counties. The event is a one way road race covering ten miles along a rail trail in York County, Pennsylvania.
The course starts at Liberty Christian Fellowship Church in Seven Valleys and runs one way north along the York County Heritage Rail Trail. The route is described as gently downhill and passes through the oldest operational train tunnel in the nation before finishing just before the Rail Trail crosses Princess Street in downtown York.
Post race refreshments and entertainment will take place at the Agricultural and Industrial Museum, which is directly across the street from the finish. Craft beer from Collusion Tap Works will be available for runners over the age of 21. Other stated amenities include a finisher medal, the official 2026 short sleeve t shirt with guaranteed size for registrations by July 15, four water stations on course, and race chip timing and results provided by Black Cat Timing.
Busing from the finish to the start is available before the race for runners who register early; seating is very limited. Age group awards will be given to the top three men and women in overall and the listed age brackets from 19 and under through 70 and over.
