Amos Herr 5K Honey Run - 2026
The Amos Herr 5K Honey Run takes place on August 22, 2026 at Amos Herr Park in Landisville. The event supports Hempfield recCenter’s Everyone Belongs campaign and the restoration of the Herr Homestead.
Two race options are offered:
- 5K run
- Kids' Fun Run: 5 & under 1/4 mile; 6–8 1/4 mile; 9–11 1/2 mile
Online registration closes on August 15, 2026. After that date, registration is available on the day of the race and is accepted by cash or check only. The registration deadline to guarantee a t-shirt is August 1, 2026. Fee information listed for the event includes an early 5K registration at $25, day of 5K registration at $30, and Kids' Fun Run at $15.
Awards are given for overall male and female finishers and for age group winners. Overall male and female each receive a Honey Bear trophy. Age group awards are 1st through 3rd place in the listed age categories. Kids' Fun Run participants receive ribbons and age group medals for 1st through 3rd place.
