Rahr Brewing Oktoberfest 5K Social Run/Walk - March
This monthly social run/walk in Fort Worth is organized by the Rahr & Sons Running Club as a community training event for the annual Rahr Brewing Company Oktoberfest 5K. The gathering starts and finishes at the Flying Saucer, 111 E. 3rd Street, Fort Worth, TX 76102.
The activity is an untimed 3'ish mile run or walk led by beer pacers. Registration is listed at $38 and includes two draft Rahr beers for participants who are 21 or older, a custom pint glass, and breakfast tacos provided by That Taco Dude. Five dollars from each registration is allocated to Rahr to the Rescue to support adoption awareness and efforts related to pet overpopulation.
The event is cashless and paperless; registrations are handled online and are nonrefundable and nontransferable once completed. Dogs are permitted on the Flying Saucer patio when leashed and wearing tags, and children in strollers may attend free of charge. The event route follows a downtown Fort Worth course.
