Ragnar Trail Wisconsin
Ragnar Trail Wisconsin is a team trail relay held September 18 to 19, 2026 at Nine Mile Forest in Wausau, WI. The course runs on miles of single-track trails beneath a canopy of oak, pine and birch trees and includes roots and rocks typical of forest terrain.
The full relay covers 117 miles with about 15 miles per runner and a total elevation gain of 237 feet. Team formats and published pricing include a Standard Team for 8 runners (2 days, 1 night) at $1,745, an Ultra Team for 4 runners (2 days, 1 night) at $1,000, a Black Loop for 2 runners (2 days, 1 night) at $425, and a Sprint Team for 3 runners (1 day) at $425. Ragnar Village serves as the weekend base with camping options, Rent-A-Tent for two- or four-person tents, and glamping listed as sold out. Village features include a bonfire, music, yoga sessions and on-site food trucks, plus s'mores and partner prizes.
