RAD Half Marathon & 10K
The RAD Half Marathon & 10K is a road race in Asheville, North Carolina, routed through the River Arts District and along the French Broad River. The event supports the River Arts District Artists Foundation and offers participants the option to add a donation for local artists.
Both courses are USATF sanctioned and certified, chip timed, clearly marked, and described as having a net elevation loss on the half marathon course. The organizer notes the route is subject to change and that permits are pending government approvals.
Event features listed by the organizer include a commemorative finisher medal, a complimentary event shirt available in unisex and women’s sizes until May 11 with a fee thereafter, complimentary shuttles for participants, a pre race artisan market and expo, and a post race party with live music, local vendors, awards, and a complimentary beer from Hi Wire Brewing for those 21 and older.
An artisan market and mini race expo is scheduled the day before the race at The Venue, 221 North Market Street, combining packet pickup with a curated local vendor market.
