RAD Half Marathon & 10K - Asheville, North Carolina

The RAD Half Marathon & 10K is held in Asheville’s River Arts District on June 14, 2026. Both distances follow a USATF sanctioned and certified route that runs along the French Broad River and finishes in the heart of the River Arts District. The half marathon features a net elevation loss, providing a primarily downhill route, and both courses are chip timed and clearly marked.

The event partners with the River Arts District Artists Foundation to support local artists; registrants may add a donation to benefit that effort. Event amenities listed by the organizer include complimentary participant shuttles, a race shirt available free until the posted deadline (fee applies after), a commemorative finisher medal, locally sourced awards, and a post-race gathering with live music, local vendors, and a complimentary beer for participants aged 21 and over.

An artisan market and packet pickup are scheduled the day before the race, offering local vendors and pre-race expo items.
