The New Year’s Resolution Run is the 12th annual race presented by Hunter Subaru in downtown Asheville, North Carolina. The event is scheduled for January 1, 2026 and starts and finishes at Pack Square Park, 80 Court Plaza, Asheville, NC 28801. The event offers both in-person and virtual options.

Charity partners listed for the event include Least of These Asheville and iDream Athletes Foundation. The run is part of the Holiday Hustle series, which also includes the South Asheville Turkey Trot and the Ugly Sweater Run. Permit approval is pending and the race date or course may be subject to change.
Course, entries and services
The course passes through downtown Asheville and neighborhood streets; the 10k route includes the Grove Park area. The finish is on North Market Street, a single remaining block of historic cobblestone brick pavers in Asheville. Packet pickup is scheduled at the Hilton Garden Inn Asheville Downtown on the day before the race and again on race day. The race will be professionally chip timed with live results and features spectator-friendly courses.
Entry includes a goody bag and a commemorative finisher item. All finishers will receive a 2026 finisher medal. Registrants who register before December 7 receive a free Resolution Run sweatshirt; from December 8 sweatshirts are available for purchase at $25. A pre-event shipping option for bib and swag is available for a fee. Cash prizes for the 10k overall top three male and female finishers are $100, $75 and $50; winners must be present at the award ceremony to accept prizes.
