New Year's Resolution Run
The New Year's Resolution Run is the 13th annual 5K and 10K held in downtown Asheville, North Carolina, presented by Hunter Subaru. The event center is Pack Square Park at 80 Court Plaza, Asheville, NC 28801, and the race takes place on January 1, 2027. A backup date of January 16 is listed in case of inclement weather.
The course passes through downtown streets and historic neighborhoods, with the 10K routing through the Grove Park area and finishing on North Market Street, a remaining block of historic cobblestone pavers. The event offers both in-person and virtual participation options and uses professional chip timing with live results.

The 10K awards cash prizes for the overall top three male and female finishers: $100, $75, and $50 respectively; winners must be present at the awards ceremony to accept cash prizes.
Registration policies state that registrations are non-refundable but may be changed by transferring to the virtual event, deferring entry, or changing race distance per the event rules.
