Event Overview
The Racin' Bacon 5K is an annual running event held in Easton, Pennsylvania, organized in conjunction with the PA Bacon Fest. The event takes place at Riverside Park, with the course starting and ending near the amphitheater. The race features a unique "pass the pigs" element where three mascot pigs are given a 30 to 60 second head start. Participants who successfully pass all three mascots receive a special prize at the conclusion of the run.

All registered runners receive a long-sleeved t-shirt, with availability guaranteed for those who sign up by October 24th. The registration package also includes entry to the PA Bacon Fest, as well as bacon and beer.
In addition to the prizes for passing the mascot pigs, the event recognizes top performers across several categories. Awards are presented to the overall winners and the top three finishers in various age groups, which range from 12 and under to 60 and older.
Logistics
The event is situated at 99 Larry Holmes Drive. There is no dedicated event parking, so participants are encouraged to utilize public spaces. While the bacon festival attracts large crowds, the morning start time allows runners to access parking before peak attendance hours.
