RaceTrac Run for Research
RaceTrac Run for Research takes place at The Battery Atlanta on September 26, 2026 and benefits the Michael J. Fox Foundation. The event lists Coca Cola and the Michael J. Fox Foundation as premium sponsors. Distances offered include a 5K and 1K options, plus a virtual 5K.

Registration for the 5K is tiered with fees that increase as the event date approaches, beginning at $30 and reaching $50 on race day. The 1K for participants 13 and older has tiered fees beginning at $20. The 1K for ages 12 and under is offered at a flat low fee. Packet pickup is available in Marietta at Big Peach Running Co. on September 19.
Participant amenities include disposable timing tags, a dry fit race shirt for 5K participants, a vendor village, and RaceTrac gift card prizes. Cash awards are listed for overall male and female finishers and for top finishers in each age group. For safety and liability reasons dogs are not allowed in the 5K. Strollers are permitted with the request that stroller users start near the back. Parking is available in the Red, Yellow, Green, and Purple decks with the first two hours free, then paid rates for additional hours.
