Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation Race for Research

The Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation holds its twenty-sixth annual Race for Research at Atlantic Station Green in Atlanta, Georgia. The event brings together the brain tumor community for a set of in-person and virtual running and walking options, plus community activities such as an opening ceremony and a post-race awards ceremony. Check-in and registration occur on the day of the event.

Event distances and options include:

  • 50 yards Tot Trot for children six and under, with a goodie bag and finisher ribbon.
  • 1K Run/Walk (untimed).
  • 5K Run/Walk (untimed).
  • 5K Run/Walk (timed) with a chipped race bib; this timed 5K is a Peachtree Road Race qualifier.
  • Virtual Supporter option for participants who cannot attend in person.

Registration windows differ by option: in-person entries open 5/27/2026 and close 9/6/2026; the virtual option opens 3/20/2026 and closes 9/19/2026. A race shirt is guaranteed for registrations completed by 8/31/2026; virtual participants may purchase a shirt to be mailed to them while shirts remain available through 9/13/2026.
