2027 Race Towards Autism Acceptance 5k, 10k, 1M & 1/4 Mile Dash
This event on April 17, 2027 takes place at Pratt Park, 120 River Rd, Fredericksburg, VA. It offers multiple race distances, a family festival on site, and a virtual race option for those who cannot attend in person. Points from the races count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k, Kids and Back of the Pack series and the Spring series.

- 5 km
- 1 mile
- 1/4 mile dash
The course departs from Pratt Park on paved routes that are fairly flat with minimal hills. The 5k follows an out-and-back once; the 10k follows the 5k course twice. Two water stations are planned along the course. Restrooms, first aid, and an AED are available at the pavilion near the park entrance.
Timed races use chip timing. Runners receive a finisher medal and a race shirt; shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed before April 7. The 1/4 mile dash and the 1 mile are untimed and have no awards.
Awards are presented for the top three men and women overall and for first and second place in age groups from 19 and under through 70 and over. The event benefits Cooking Autism, Inc, an organization that provides life-skills and cooking classes to special education classrooms in the Greater Fredericksburg area.
