RACE TO WRIGLEY 5K CHARITY RUN PRESENTED BY AbbVie
The Race to Wrigley 5K Charity Run presented by AbbVie is scheduled for September 20, 2026 at Wrigley Field, 1060 W Addison St, Chicago, IL 60613. This is the 21st annual edition of the event. The in-person course runs through the Lakeview neighborhood before entering Wrigley Field and finishes near the Wrigley Field Marquee. As part of the course, runners have the opportunity to run on the warning track inside the ballpark.

- Virtual 5K Run/Walk : 3.1 Miles
A virtual option allows participants to map and complete a 5K course of their own. Registration for the in-person event opens July 20, 2026 and closes July 26, 2026; virtual registration opens July 20, 2026 and closes September 17, 2026. Stated registration fees are $39.00 for the in-person 5K and $45.00 for the virtual 5K.
Proceeds from the race benefit Cubs Charities, which supports programs intended to invest in people, places, and programs for Chicago youth. Participants who designate Advocate Health Care for their personal fundraising direct proceeds toward access to behavioral health care for children and teens through Advocate Children’s Hospital.
