Event Overview

The Run Mag Mile takes place on September 12, 2026. It features a 5K and a 10K race that go along Chicago's Magnificent Mile.

Course Details

The course runs on Michigan Avenue, which is closed for the event. Runners pass landmarks such as Tribune Tower, the Wrigley Building, and the historic Water Tower. The 10K course also extends onto the scenic Lakefront Trail, offering views of Lake Michigan before finishing in Grant Park. The course is USATF certified.

Event Experience

Live music and on-course entertainment are provided, including performances from Chicago Skyline, an all-women drumline, and My 80's Band.
