2027 Run Mag Mile Presented by HOKA : Chicago, IL
The event in Grant Park, Chicago, offers road race options organized by Ventures Endurance. Distances available include:
- 5K: 5 kilometers
- 10K: 10 kilometers
- Virtual Events: remote participation option
Both the 5K and 10K start and finish on Ida B. Wells, just east of Buckingham Fountain. The 10K route continues south on Columbus Drive, enters the lakefront at Roosevelt, passes Monroe Harbor, and returns down Columbus Drive to the finish. The course is USATF certified.
Entry fees shown on the event page range from $46.29 to $57.39, including booking fees. Included with entry are event-branded apparel, a Chicago-themed finisher’s medal, finisher photos, on-course entertainment, and access to a finish-line after-party with brunch. The after-party program lists performances at the finish line, a slice of Eli’s Cheesecake, and alcoholic beverages for participants 21 and over.
On-course operations specify a 15-minute mile pace requirement; runners who fall behind pace on Michigan Avenue may be diverted to the sidewalk or be transported to the finish line.
