Race to the Flagpole
The Race to the Flagpole is a community road race organized by the Livermore Granada Boosters. It takes place on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Independence Park in Livermore. The event is the Boosters' main fundraiser and all proceeds support the Livermore Granada Boosters Olympian Scholarship program. The course is described as running through Livermore wine country. All participants receive a race T-shirt, a medal, and post-race refreshments.

Awards recognize the top male and female finishers in the 5K, 10K, and 1 Mile. Schools are also recognized: the top elementary, middle, and high school with the most participants, and the fastest elementary, middle, and high school. The race offers student and group pricing: students 18 and under receive $14 off, and groups of four or more save an additional $5 per person. A community shirt design contest with a November 21 entry deadline was introduced in 2025.
Olympian Award Banquet
The Olympian Award Banquet is a recognition event hosted by the Boosters to honor students, teams, coaches, and community members for athletic and academic achievements. For 2026 the banquet is scheduled for Monday, May 18, at Livermore High School Gym. The listed cost is $35 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under; varsity athletes and certain recipients are admitted free. The banquet typically occurs the third Monday in May and features awards, Hall of Fame inductions, and scholarship recognition. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
