Race to the Flagpole
The Race to the Flagpole is organized by the Livermore Granada Boosters and takes place at Independence Park in Livermore on January 30, 2027. It serves as the Boosters' main fundraiser for the Livermore Granada Boosters Olympian Scholarship program. The event is open to all ages and abilities and is presented to encourage awareness and appreciation for fitness while fostering community pride.
All participants receive a commemorative race T-shirt, a medal, and post-race refreshments. Bibs are picked up at the registration table on race day. The event recognizes top finishers and participating schools with awards.

Awards and recognition include top male and female finishers for the 1 Mile, 5k, and 10k events. Schools are recognized both for the largest number of participants by level and for the fastest elementary, middle, and high school teams.
