Race to Save the Harvest
The Race to Save the Harvest is the ninth annual community running event held at Minto-Brown Island Park in Salem, Oregon. The event includes multiple short-course running and walking options held on shaded, hard-surface paths within the park. Courses described by the organizer are a 3K out-and-back and a 5K loop, with start and finish located at the south end of Parking Lot 3 near the covered picnic area. This event does not have official timing.

Packet pick up is offered on the day before the event and the morning of the event. One packet pickup location is Gallagher Fitness Resources at 135 Commercial Street NE in Salem on Friday, June 26. Additional packet pickup is available at Minto-Brown Island Park near Parking Lot 3 on Saturday, June 27.
All funds raised support Salem Harvest to recover fresh produce from local farms for distribution to families in the Willamette Valley. Event registrations made before June 5 include an event t-shirt; registration fees increase and shirts are not available for registrations on June 5 or later. Raffle tickets are provided to participants with options to purchase additional tickets. Additional on-site activities listed by the organizer include a mascot appearance, yard games, bicycle-blended smoothies, snacks, and community informational booths.
