Magdalene House Race to Embrace 5K
The Magdalene House Race to Embrace 5K takes place in Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi at Washington St and S Beach Blvd on 11/14/2026. The event includes a 5K run and a 5K racewalk. Registered runners may mix running with walking during the 5K run. Registered racewalkers are required to walk the full distance and may not mix running and walking.
All proceeds support the Magdalene House, a transitional sober living program that provides a recovery environment for women affected by alcoholism and drug addiction. The course is described as fast and flat and offers a beach view. T-shirts are guaranteed to participants who pre-register.
Online pre-registration fee is $25.00 and race day registration is $30.00. Pre-registration for the 5K run opens 8/7/2026 and for the 5K racewalk opens 8/8/2026; pre-registration closes 11/12/2026. Refreshments are provided following the race.
Awards for the 5K run include overall male and female, masters, grandmasters, senior grandmasters, and the top two finishers male and female in these age groups: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
