Event Overview
The Race the Rep One Miler is a one-mile track race hosted by iRun Texas. It takes place on the track at the University of Incarnate Word's Benson Stadium in San Antonio.
Race Format
Participants run in separate heats based on their projected finish time for the mile. The listed heat time ranges are: 4:30-4:45, 4:45-5:30, 5:30-6:30, 6:30-7:30, and 7:30-8:00. Each heat is limited to 30 runners. Winners are determined outright for each heat, with separate male and female winners, and there are no age group divisions.
Prizes and Post-Race
The male and female winner of each heat receives a $25 iRun gift card. Runners who finish ahead of the brand representative assigned to their heat also receive a provided prize pack. After the event, prizes are handed out at iRun Broadway on Broadway Street, where awards, drinks, and snacks are available.
Practical Information
Bib pick-up is available at iRun Broadway (4001 Broadway) on the Sunday before the race and on race day. Participants can also pick up their bib at the track, but early pick-up is encouraged. Parking is available in the large lot behind iRun or in the University of Incarnate Word parking lot near the track. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
