Race The Clock
Race The Clock is an endurance running event held at Les Quennevais Cycle Track on a certified 1500 metre tarmac circuit. The event offers three timed formats: 24 hour, 12 hour and 6 hour, with options to compete solo or as part of a relay team. Relay formats include 2 person and 4 person teams in the longer events and a 2 person option for the 6 hour event.
The course is not floodlit so overnight participants must use headtorches and bring spare batteries for extended running. Runners change direction on the track every three hours. The event uses chip timing and trackside toilets are available.
A lifebase provides water, hot drinks, snacks, rest space and medical support, but runners are advised to bring personal nutrition such as gels because the provided snacks will not fully replace personal supplies. The event is cup free so participants must use a reusable cup or bottle. Meal provision is included for longer entrants with three hot meals offered to 24 hour participants and one meal for 12 hour participants.
All finishers receive a technical T shirt and a medal. Competitive awards are listed by event and category with podium places for most laps and fastest benchmarks, and benchmark lap targets include 100 laps for solo and 200 laps for relay teams in the 24 hour event. Spaces per category are limited and Centrepoint has been selected as the chosen charity for 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
