Beast of The East Trail Half Marathon & 10km
This trail running event takes place on Sunday, October 25, 2026, in Jersey. It offers two distances: a Half Marathon and a 10km. The Half Marathon starts at St Catherine’s Woods, while the 10km starts at Bouley Bay. Both races finish at Devil’s Hole.
The routes are approximately 95% trail and are marked with arrows and barrier tape. The Half Marathon covers 2,700 ft of elevation gain, and the 10km covers 1,600 ft. The Half Marathon limit is 100 runners, and the 10km limit is 50 runners.
Entry includes a race number, finisher’s T-shirt, medal, water stops, results, and post-race drinks and snacks. The organizer provides cup-less checkpoints, so runners must carry a reusable cup. There are specific mandatory kit requirements for safety, including trail shoes, a warm top layer, a foil blanket, a rain jacket, at least 1 litre of water capacity, and a charged phone.
