About the race
The Heart to Heart 5K is an out-and-back road race held on Friday 25th September 2026, with start and finish at the first hut near Layby 1, Victoria Avenue, St Helier. The event is the third edition of this 5 kilometre distance and aims to raise funds to purchase an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for run and sports clubs on the island. Registration is free but includes a mandatory minimum donation of £10 that will be added at checkout; all donations are passed directly to Jersey Heart Support Group (JHSG) to purchase the AED. The event is supported by BNP Paribas, the Radisson Blu Hotel (which has granted permission for an AED to be fitted to its building), and several local running clubs including Jersey Run Club, The Wolfpack, Rock n Road Runners, Jersey Spartan Athletic Club and Trail Monkey Jersey. Jersey Heart Support Group promotes placement, delivery, training and use of AEDs in Jersey and works with hospital cardiac teams and local campaigns.
Participants may walk or run the course and all finishers receive a medal. Race bibs will be available for collection from Rock n Road Run Co at Liberty Wharf on Friday 25th September. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
