Race of the Santas - Breckenridge
The Race of the Santas is a seasonal run that uses Main Street in Breckenridge, Colorado, with the start located in front of The Canteen and the finish at Blue River Plaza where the Breckenridge tree lighting takes place. Bib pick-up is handled at The Canteen; participants collect their race bib and any purchased Santa suit or hat.
The event lists two registration categories with entry fees: an adult category priced at $30 and a kids category priced at $10. The Breckenridge Recreation Department is identified as the organizer.
A portion of the event proceeds supports the Carriage House Early Learning Center. The organizer describes Carriage House as an early childhood program focused on intellectual, social and physical development, building relationships with families and the community, and fostering life-long learning. The center is noted as Breckenridge’s oldest childcare facility and states a founding year of 1973.
The event schedule on file also includes additional community activities on the same day, such as a holiday dog parade, a Moose March, and an appearance by Santa leading into the tree lighting. Course maps and category details are listed with the event materials. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
