The 19th Race into the New Year 5k takes place Saturday, December 27, 2025, in North Myrtle Beach, SC. The event is a 5K run/walk. The course starts at Barefoot Landing’s overflow parking (next to Greg Norman’s), loops through Barefoot Landing, and finishes at Risen Christ Christian Academy.
Registration, amenities and awards
Entry fees are $30 for pre-registered entries (by 12/26/25) and $35 on race day. Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Race day registration and packet pick-up are scheduled from 7:30 to 8:15 at R.C.C.A., 10595 N. Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach, SC 29572. T-shirts are guaranteed for pre-registered entrants, then available as supplies last. Refreshments include water, fruit, bagels, and sports drinks. Awards are given to the top three male and top three female overall, and to the top three in each age group: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
