Myrtle Beach 24 Hour (February 7–8, 2026)

The Myrtle Beach 24 Hour is an inaugural endurance run held in The Market Common area of Myrtle Beach, organized by the City of Myrtle Beach’s Parks, Recreation and Sports Tourism Department. The event uses a USATF certified and sanctioned paved loop of 1.0806 mile.

Participants may run for any duration within the 24 hour event window and may leave and return to the course; if leaving for an extended period, runners must leave their bib at the timing tent and retrieve it on return. The course remains open to the public on race day, and directional signs and portapotties will be provided.

An aid station located in the start/finish area will offer standard ultra food, water, electrolyte drinks and hot food. Chip timing will be used; chips are attached to the back of the bib and runners are asked to wear the bib on the front of the body. A live leaderboard will display real time updates. Pacers are allowed after 3 p.m.; each pacer must sign a waiver at the timing tent.

A designated tent city near the start/finish permits 10x10 canopies only; no camping tents or propane heaters are allowed. Power outlets are available first come, first served. Packet pickup is scheduled for February 6 at Crabtree Memorial Gym and also race morning at the start/finish. Finish recognitions include a buckle for 100 miles or more, medals for distances under 100 miles, and awards for the top three men and top three women.
