RACE FOR THE WARRIOR
RACE FOR THE WARRIOR is scheduled for Saturday, May 16, 2026, in Fort Wayne at 12602 Global Drive. The event supports the Northeast Indiana Base Community Council and its Military Support Fund, a 501c3 that provides grants to service members and their families in a twelve county area of Northeast Indiana during unexpected financial hardship. The council also carries out programs related to workforce development, education, advocacy, and quality of life.
The event program lists multiple options: 5K Run/Walk, 5K Ruck, 5K Adaptive Division, Kids Run - Training Trot, Lunch with the Warriors, and a 5K Virtual option. The course uses stroller friendly runways at the Fort Wayne International Airport; the event is not held at the airport main terminal. Bicycles are not allowed on the course. The event will occur rain or shine and no refunds will be issued. Race t-shirt and swag are not guaranteed for registrations completed after May 1, 2026.
Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet on the Friday before the race at the Coventry location.
