RACE FOR THE WARRIOR - May 16, 2026
The RACE FOR THE WARRIOR is the 12th annual event held on Saturday, May 16, 2026. The race takes place on stroller-friendly runways at Fort Wayne International Airport and is not at the airport main terminal. The event is planned to proceed in all weather; no refunds will be issued for weather-related cancellations.

Organization and logistics
The event supports the Northeast Indiana Base Community Council and its Military Support Fund. The fund is a 501(c)(3) established through the Greater Fort Wayne Community Foundation and provides grants to military members and their families in a twelve-county area of Northeast Indiana for unexpected financial hardship. The council also runs programs in workforce development, education, advocacy, and quality of life.
Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet (Coventry location) on Friday, May 15. Online registration is available through the day of the event. Race t-shirt or swag is not guaranteed for registrations made after May 1, 2026. Bicycles are not allowed on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
