19th Race for the Ribbon 5K - Cape Henlopen State Park
The 19th Race for the Ribbon 5K is scheduled for May 31, 2026 in Lewes, Delaware, at the Main Beach parking area on the north side of Cape Henlopen State Park. The event is a live, in-person 5K run and walk produced by Seashore Strider Event Production, Inc. Proceeds are intended to benefit cancer-related causes; final 2026 proceeds are to be determined.

- 5K Run: 3.11 miles
- 5K Walk: 3.1 miles
The course is described as a flat and fast out and back route within the state park. Timing will use the Chronotrack B Chip system managed by the event production team. Awards will be presented to overall male and female champions, overall masters (40+), top three finishers in 16 standard age categories, and the top five walkers. Awards are presented within 20 minutes after the final finisher; out-of-town award recipients may have awards shipped for a $10 postage fee.
Registration is available online through RunSignUp and by mail-in entry. Fee tiers include $30 early registration through May 17, $35 pre-registration from May 18 through May 31, and $40 race-day registration. Registrations received by May 25 are guaranteed an event shirt. The event follows a no refund policy with options to transfer, defer, or donate entries.
