Race for the Green, Seneca, SC
The Race for the Green takes place on March 14, 2026, in downtown Seneca, South Carolina, at 698 W. S. 4th Street. The event is scheduled in March, when mornings can be cool and become mildly warm as the morning progresses.
The event program includes multiple distances:
- Half Marathon
- Half Marathon - 2 Person Relay
- 5K
- Kids Fun Run (ages 12 and under)
The Kids Fun Run has separate registration and is open to children 12 and under; registration closes on the day of the race. Registration guaranteed for a race shirt ends on March 8. Entry fees increase in the months before race day; listed event prices include $75 for the Half Marathon, $90 for the Half Marathon relay, $35 for the 5K, and a free entry for the Kids Fun Run.
Prizes and race items noted by the organizer include cash prizes, participant swag, and a finishers medal. Relay registration is organized by team name: the first runner registers and creates the team name, the second runner registers under that name.
