Race for Recovery 5K
The Shelby County Recovery Court Foundation hosts the annual Race for Recovery 5K in Overton Park at 389 E Pkwy N, Memphis, TN 38112, on September 26, 2026. The event combines a timed 5K course with a community gathering after the finish.
All proceeds from the race will directly fund services for Drug Court participants to support recovery and reintegration into the Shelby County community. Recovery Court has worked for over two decades to assist individuals and families affected by alcohol and drug issues.
The event has a Dia De Los Muertos theme and includes a community altar to honor those who have passed. Participants receive medals and awards, and post-race food and social time are provided. Entry for the standard 5K is listed at $39.44 for the registration window shown. A separate Graduate 5K category offers free registration for Drug Court graduates and current participants with an access code; free registration is arranged through a Drug Court coordinator or mentor.
