Race for Peace
Race for Peace is a community 5K run/walk held in October at the David H. Murdock Research Institute / Research Campus Park in Kannapolis, North Carolina. The event is open to runners and walkers of various ages and abilities and is organized as a single 5K distance.
The 5K is one of the eight races included in the Run Kannapolis Race Series. Registrants who register for all eight races by March 28 receive a 25 percent discount on the total registration price for the series.
Packet pickup is provided the day before the race at the Bethel Enrichment Center, 1209 Opal Street, Kannapolis, and on race day at 150 Research Campus Drive, Kannapolis. Registration terms state that there are no refunds, that race management may cancel or modify the event due to unfavorable conditions, and that registration fees are not refundable in the event of cancellation due to Acts of God.
