Event Overview
The Race for Parkinson's is a fundraising event in its 16th year. The event raises funds for the Bismarck Parkinson's Support Group. The money is used locally for Parkinson's-specific exercise programs and to sponsor educational events and speakers for families.

The event takes place at Sertoma Park in Bismarck, North Dakota. Registration begins at the Sertoma Park Community Shelter near the amusement park.
Distances and Activities
The event offers several activities:
- A competitive 5K run.
- A 5K walk.
- A 1 mile family walk.
- A Kids Fun Dash for children aged 12 and under. All registered children receive a gift card.
- A virtual run/walk option for those unable to attend in person.
A brief program, including the national anthem, is held before the activities.
Registration and Logistics
Early registration costs $30, and day-of registration is $35. The Kids Fun Dash costs $15. Participants who register before a specified deadline are guaranteed a race t-shirt.
