Race for PACES 10K Walk Run for Prostate Cancer
The Race for PACES 10K is part of RACE for P.A.C.E.S., a prostate cancer awareness and screening initiative focused on early detection, education, and access to follow-up care for men at higher risk. The event takes place at Westside Atlanta Beltline, Lee + White, 1020 White Street, Atlanta, GA 30310.
The event includes in-person 10K and 5K run/walk options and a virtual 10K option. Packet pickup is available the Friday before the event at Big Peach South Fulton and on race morning at the race site. Parking is available at Lee + White and on surrounding neighborhood streets; participants are advised to allow extra time for parking and to observe posted restrictions.
Organizers outline measurable goals for 2027 including a fundraising target of $500,000 to fund screenings and care, screening more than 5,000 men, and providing follow-up clinical assistance for roughly 10 to 20 percent of those with abnormal results. The event will involve healthcare leaders, corporations, financial institutions, and community partners to advance health equity across metro Atlanta and surrounding communities.
