Race for Life Worthing at Beach House Grounds
Race for Life Worthing offers two distances:
- 3k
- 5k
The event is based at Beach House Grounds, adjacent to Beach House West Car Park and Worthing Promenade. The course heads west along the seafront, following Marine Parade on a single-lap 2.5k route, with the finish located back on Beach House Grounds.
Participants should bring a filled water bottle because no bottled water is provided. There is a water refill station halfway around the course and a Scottish Power water refill station at the finish.
Travel options include limited parking at the car park adjacent to Beach House Grounds and several public car parks within about a 10-minute walk. Blue Badge parking is available directly opposite the event site. Bus services stop within a two-minute walk of the venue; the train station is about a 20-minute walk. Bike racks are available at Splashpoint Leisure Centre and an electric vehicle charging point is nearby.
Available facilities listed for the event include refreshments and toilets. Dogs are allowed, the route is suitable for pushchairs, and the event is wheelchair accessible with assistance. The start and finish areas are on flat, firm grass but may become soft or muddy in wet weather. The course surface includes tarmac and hardstanding and may experience congestion along the sea wall.
Entry pricing shown for the event includes earlybird fees of £7.99 for ages 16 and over and £5.50 for children; the minimum fundraising target is £50. Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training support, community access, and a Race for Life medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
