Cancer Research UK stages Race for Life at Beach House Grounds, Brighton Road, Worthing BN11 2EJ. The event offers the following distances:

The start and finish areas are within Beach House Grounds, adjacent to Beach House West Car Park and Worthing Promenade. The route runs west along the seafront following Marine Parade on the promenade and returns to Beach House Grounds. Surfaces include tarmac and hardstanding; the start and finish are on grass that is generally flat and firm but may become soft or muddy in wet weather. Parts of the route may be congested along the sea wall.
Participants are asked to bring a filled water bottle as no bottled water is provided. A water refill station is available roughly halfway around the course and a Scottish Power refill station is available at the finish. Organisers advise arriving 30 to 45 minutes before your start so you are prepared for the event.
Facilities listed for the site include refreshments, toilets, allowance for dogs, suitability for pushchairs, and wheelchair access with assistance. Parking near the site is limited; Blue Badge parking is available approximately 80 metres from the event on grass. Bus stops are a short walk from the venue and Worthing train station is about a 20 minute walk. Bike racks and an electric vehicle charging station are nearby.

Children aged 6 to 15 must be registered and accompanied by a parent or guardian; children under 6 may accompany a registered adult free of charge but are not registered participants.
