Race for Life Wolverhampton 5k
Race for Life Wolverhampton is a 5k event held at West Park, Park Road East and Park Road West, Wolverhampton, WV1 4PH on Sunday 14 Jun 2026. The event is for people aged 16 and over. Entry is shown as £15.99 and the minimum fundraising target is £50.00.
The start and finish are on grass with the route mainly on tarmac paths. The course is a double lap; two laps are completed for the full 5k distance. The route is described as fairly flat but includes some inclines, twists and turns, and may become slightly congested on the second lap. Participants who wish to overtake are asked to do so on the right-hand side of the path.
The start and finish area are a short walk from the Tea Rooms; the closest gate is the Southgate entrance. There is very limited parking around the venue; drop-offs at the park perimeter are permitted and a small number of Blue Badge bays are available. The nearest train station is Wolverhampton, about a 20–25 minute walk. Bike racks are available around the perimeter.
Facilities listed include refreshments, toilets, allowance of dogs, suitability for pushchairs and wheelchair accessibility. Sunflower wristbands are available at the enquiries marquee, Event Managers are trained Dementia Friends, and a QR code will provide British Sign Language stage content.
