Race for Life Wolverhampton 5k
Race for Life Wolverhampton is a 5k event at West Park, Wolverhampton, on Sunday 14 June 2026. Entry fees are listed as £15.99 for adults and £11.00 for children. The event has a minimum fundraising target of £50 and is open to people aged 16 and over.
The start and finish are on grass. The course is predominantly on tarmac paths and is described as fairly flat with some inclines, twists and turns. The full distance is completed by doing two laps of the course, which may cause some local congestion; participants are asked to overtake on the right hand side of the path.
The start and finish are a short walk from the Tea Rooms, with the closest access via the Southgate Entrance. The what3words location for the start is ///chase.causes.studio. Parking around the venue is limited and may not be suitable for everyone; drop off is possible at the park perimeter and there are a limited number of blue badge bays. The closest train station is Wolverhampton, around a 20 to 25 minute walk, and there are many nearby bus stops. Various bike racks are available around the park perimeter and a Chargemaster charging station is listed at Park Rd W.
Available facilities include refreshments, toilets, allowance for dogs, suitability for pushchairs and wheelchair accessibility. Bag drop and showers are not available. Sunflower wristbands are available at the enquiries marquee, Event Managers have Dementia Friends training, and a QR code will provide British Sign Language stage content. Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign, training support, community access and a Race for Life medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
