Mental Elf festive fun run Birmingham 2026
Birmingham Mind is organising the fourth annual Mental Elf festive fun run at Cannon Hill Park, Russell Road, Birmingham B13 8RD. The event is an inclusive community run that invites people of all ages and abilities to walk, jog, skip or run on park routes. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Discounts are available for family groups and corporate or group teams.
Participants can choose between two measured route options:
- 5 km
- 1.5 km
All funds raised at the event remain in Birmingham to support local mental health services. The event description notes that previous editions raised nearly £20,000 and that organisers aim to raise £25,000 this year. Organisers encourage participants to aim to raise around £50 each to support services such as the Central Wellbeing Hub at The Bullring and Grand Central.
Event entries include registration and a running number, a pre event warm up, a finisher medal, a goody bag with a snack and water, and access to event photographs. Elf fancy dress is encouraged and there will be Best Dressed Elf competitions with prizes. The event operates an in person attendance mode and the stated refund policy is no refunds.
