Mental Elf Festive Fun Run Bromsgrove
Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire Mind will hold a festive community event at Sanders Park in Bromsgrove. The event brings a 5K walk or run to Bromsgrove for the first time and combines a community atmosphere with fundraising for local bereavement support.
The event offers a relaxed, family friendly 5K walk or run with Christmas fancy dress and a prize for the best dressed Elf. There is also a best dressed dog competition and festive entertainment. The event is described as inclusive for people of all ages and abilities and includes special discounts for families, groups and corporate teams.
Fundraising is encouraged but not compulsory; participants are invited to aim for a suggested fundraising target of £50. Money raised will support the Bereaved by Suicide Service in Worcestershire, which provides specialist support to people and families affected by suicide.
Tickets include a place in the event, a Mental Elf Festive Fun Run victory medal, a free warm up session and entry into the best dressed competition. Participants may bring dogs. Participants under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, or by an over 18 year old with permission from the participant’s parent or legal guardian. The event has a no refunds policy.
