9 Locks 10k Winter Challenge : 29 November 2026
The 9 Locks 10k Winter Challenge is a point-to-point 10-kilometre running event organised by OP Events. The route runs from Stourbridge to Brierley Hill, mainly along canal side paths with a hint of trail and a continual incline, finishing after the section that passes the 9 Delph Locks.
The race uses seeded start times and is chip timed; the timing includes a King of the Hill element. Participants receive goody bags and a medal, and there are prizes. The event notes free parking and a coach transfer for attendees and aims to provide a supportive, festival atmosphere.
