The course starts and finishes on grass in a central field and uses a mix of grass, track and tarmac paths. Ground conditions may vary and the route includes both downhill and uphill gradients. The meeting point is the field within the centre of Woodbank Park.
Transport and parking information notes parking at two car parks off Turncroft Lane and additional parking at Vernon Park Car Park off Stockport Road. Blue Badge parking is available near the event with short level access via surfaced paths. Drop off areas and volunteer parking are also provided. There are no electric charging points or bike racks on site. Stockport Bus Station is about a 15 minute walk and Stockport Train Station is about 1.1 miles away.
