Race for Life Shrewsbury 5k
This Race for Life event takes place on Sunday 30 May 2027 at The Quarry park and garden in Shrewsbury. The venue is a 29-acre park on the bank of the River Severn that includes the Dingle garden and open green spaces.

The 5 km course includes four short climbs of about 200 m each with an average gradient of 5.7%. The route uses a mixture of well maintained paths and grass. Grass sections can become boggy in wet weather but can be avoided; avoiding the grass may shorten the course. The route can also be completed as four out and back laps along the riverside to avoid the inclines. The start and finish are located on a grass field within the park next to the swimming pool.
