Watford Pretty Muddy 5k
The event is the Pretty Muddy 5k obstacle course held at Cassiobury Park in Watford (Off Cassiobury Park Avenue, WD18 7LG). The course starts and finishes on grass and is largely flat, with a mix of terrains including tree-lined paths and grass avenues. The route includes obstacles that require climbing, crawling and sliding; marshals are available to assist and participants may skip an obstacle if needed.
Participants must be 13 years of age or older. Event waves start at 15-minute intervals to manage numbers on the course; groups should register for the same wave. The venue meeting point is at the top of the slope next to the car park by the Lebanon Tree; a what3words location is provided for the start point.
Facilities listed for the event include refreshments and toilets. The event is not suitable for wheelchair users and is not suitable for pushchairs; dogs are not allowed. There is no parking available at Cassiobury Park on the day; public transport is recommended. Watford Underground station is about a 5-minute walk to the site and Watford Junction is about a 25-minute walk. Bike racks are available near the Daisy cafe and near the tennis courts.
