About the race
Poole Pretty Muddy is a 5 kilometre obstacle event held at Baiter Park in Poole on Saturday 29 May 2027. The start and finish are on grass and the course runs on a mixture of grass and tarmac, looping around Poole Park, going under the railway line and entering Whitecliff Recreational Ground and Harbourside Park. The route may be muddy in wet weather. The event uses staggered wave start times, with waves every 15 minutes.
The course features obstacles where participants climb, crawl and slide; marshals are available to assist and participants may skip obstacles if needed. The main Pretty Muddy event requires participants to be 13 years of age or older. Child entry information is provided for ages 6 to 15 and children must be registered and accompanied by a parent or guardian; adults who have registered can bring children under 6 free of charge but those children are not registered participants.
There are separate Pretty Muddy Kids events for younger children. Entry prices listed are Adults £25.49 and Children £15.00, with a minimum fundraising target of £50. Facilities on site include refreshments, toilets and parking. Dogs, bag drop and showers are not available.
The site is not wheelchair accessible and pushchairs are not suitable; a very limited number of Blue Badge parking spaces are available in nearby Harbourside car parks, approximately 450 m from the event site. Public transport access includes nearby bus stops and Poole Railway Station within walking distance. Cycling racks are not available.
